Inaugural More than MFG Expo a Success

Published: Sep 25 2022

The inaugural More than MFG Expo, hosted by CBT Company, was a tremendous success. Over the course of the event, about 1,000 attendees filled the Sharonville Convention Center to meet and connect with representatives from 65 exhibitor booths and interact with eleven featured speakers and panelists. Trailblazing speakers from across the nation kicked off the Expo with engaging conversations on topics including attracting a new generation to the workforce, women’s continued advancements in the male-dominated manufacturing sector, and new ways of imparting innovation into manufacturing

Elise Ring, Vice President of Marketing at CBT Company, began Tuesday morning by addressing a full room of manufacturing executives, influencers, and thought leaders, speaking about how manufacturing ignites her: “If I could boil it all down to one thing, it would be the promise of potential,” Ring says. “The potential for this industry. Potential to be part of the ‘what’s next’ for manufacturing. Potential to be part of the ‘who is next in manufacturing.”

Another draw of the event was the Expo floor. The sold-out, 20,000 square-foot Expo floor featured CBT partners from across the nation within the industries of Belting, Automation, Electrical Equipment, Mechanical Power Transmission, and more. An abundance of show-goers bounced back and forth between the booths and large trailers, forming connections with vendors as they discussed everyday challenges they face, and problem-solving products and solutions.

And finally, the Expo featured seven technical sessions ranging from revolutionizing operations to addressing supply chain issues. All sessions were led by qualified and experienced professionals.
